From my personal collection. There are certain vintage pieces that are a little harder to let go of, and this is absolutely one of them.

Vintage Original Russ Sport Company heavy knit cardigan featuring an incredible mix of forest green, rust, red, golden yellow, dusty blue, cream, and brown. The combination of geometric patterns, horizontal stripes, and contrast stitching gives this one that perfectly collected, slightly rugged mountain-cabin look.

And then there are the wooden buttons.

They are such a small detail, but they completely make this sweater. Paired with the heavy knit and visible blanket-style stitching around the edges and button placket, the whole thing feels like something that should be thrown over a thermal before heading out for coffee on a cold morning in Aspen.

This isn't a delicate little cardigan. It has some weight and structure to it, which makes it especially good worn open as a jacket-style layer over a tee, thermal or turtleneck.

CONDITION
Beautiful vintage condition with some signs of previous wear. There are a few snags/pulls throughout the knit, which are shown in the photos. No attempt has been made to disguise the imperfections.
