Vintage Harley Davidson Hoodie Plourde’s Caribou Maine Raglan Sweatshirt 80s Style Biker Pullover

An old Harley piece with a little mystery behind it. This vintage Harley-Davidson raglan hoodie came to us from a seller who represented it as a vintage, unworn piece, and looking at the sweatshirt itself, there is plenty here that points to genuine age.

Heather gray body, darker ribbed cuffs and waistband, raglan construction, kangaroo pocket and that perfectly old-school hood. Across the front is the classic Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield in orange, yellow and black, while the back features a fantastic Plourde’s Harley-Davidson, Caribou, Maine dealership graphic.

What immediately caught our attention is just how crisp the graphics remain.

The sweatshirt itself shows age, including scattered staining, small pinholes and general storage wear, while the graphics have survived remarkably well. We purchased the piece as vintage and unworn, which could certainly explain the unusually strong graphics and overall lack of traditional wear.

There is another possibility we want to disclose for collectors. The graphics may be vintage or deadstock transfers that were applied to a vintage sweatshirt at some point in its life. We have no evidence confirming that this happened, but because we cannot independently verify when the graphics were applied, we don't want to represent the sweatshirt as something we can't prove.

What we can say is that it's a killer vintage Harley piece with old-school construction, fantastic graphics and a regional dealership back hit that you don't see every day.

Whether it spent decades tucked away unworn or came together using vintage components somewhere along the way, it's a damn good survivor.
