1970s ERA HARLEY-DAVIDSON PHIL PETERSON’S MIAMI RAGLAN TEE

Straight from my personal collection, and this one is GOOD. An incredible early Harley-Davidson raglan featuring a classic eagle Harley graphic across the front and a killer Phil Peterson’s Harley-Davidson, Miami, Florida dealership graphic across the back.

The shirt itself is almost as good as the graphics. Bright Harley orange body. Contrasting white raglan sleeves. Black V-neck. Orange-and-black racing stripes around the sleeves. Single-stitch construction. And that perfectly worn, paper-thin vintage fabric that you simply cannot reproduce.

The front features HARLEY-DAVIDSON lettering with an eagle graphic. Flip it over, and you get the real showstopper: a large Phil Peterson’s Harley-Davidson dealership graphic featuring the state of Florida, a palm tree, a motorcycle, and Miami, Florida lettering.

This is the kind of vintage Harley piece I look for. Not just an old logo tee, but a true dealership shirt with unusual construction, incredible graphics, and decades of natural wear.

CONDITION
Beautifully worn vintage condition. This shirt has staining, discoloration, fading, and general wear throughout, consistent with its age. The graphics show cracking, fading, and wear. There is visible staining near the neckline and additional age-related marks throughout the garment.

The fabric has become extremely soft and paper-thin from decades of wear. Please look closely at all photos as they are part of the condition description. This is not a pristine vintage tee, and I wouldn't want it to be. The wear is part of this one's story.

This one came straight out of my personal collection. There is something about old dealership Harley shirts that gets me every time, but this one has everything.

The orange.
The raglan sleeves.
The striped cuffs.
The V-neck.
The eagle.
The Miami dealership back hit.
And fabric so thin and soft it feels like it's already lived three lives.

This is the Harley vintage I love most. Not perfect. Not tucked away untouched for 50 years. Worn, faded, stained, softened, and somehow better because of all of it. A true piece of American motorcycle history, ready for whoever gets to wear it next.
