Vintage 1987 Don Vannessa's Football Camp for Champions T-Shirt

Vintage 1987 Don Vannessa's Football Camp for Champions T-Shirt | Healthknit | USA Made

Some of the best vintage tees weren't made for concerts. They were made for a single summer, a hometown event, or a local tradition, and decades later they're the only ones left.

This original 1987 Don Vannessa's Football Camp for Champions tee is printed on a classic Healthknit tag and made in the USA from a soft 50/50 cotton-poly blend. The vibrant golden yellow body is paired with bold green graphics on the front, while the back features a dealership advertisement for Jim Dowdy Oldsmobile-Cadillac in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, making it a great piece of regional Americana.

The graphics remain crisp, the fabric has softened beautifully over time, and the fit is that perfect vintage medium everyone searches for.

The Elwood Story
Vintage is full of stories that only happened once. A football camp in the summer of 1987, sponsored by a local dealership, printed on a quality American-made Healthknit tee. Nearly forty years later, it's become the kind of graphic shirt that feels impossible to reproduce. Pieces like this capture a moment in time, and that's what makes them collectible.
